Preveil - explores South African Indian women’s lived experiences of how love and silencing/secrecy (which are the after-effects of abuse) co-exist in heterosexual relationships. It examines how the practice of veiling is present in the lives of South African Indian women by exploring the concepts of covering, layering, uncovering, recovering, entanglement, and disentanglement to reveal the silences that exist within the narratives.
